Do we need planning permission for our replacement garage?

Please take a look at the self assessment form on our Planning Permission page, this will run through the conditions involved.

How much will planning permission cost and who will complete the application?
a) Planning permission costs £150.00 per application; this may vary with each local authority.
b) We will carry out your application for you once we receive a written order conversation and deposit. If you are not granted permission we will charge an admin fee of £150.00 and return the balance of your deposit.
How will I dispose of my existing garage?

We have a selection of contractors who specialise in removal of old buildings and we can put them directly in touch with you regarding this service.

Is my existing base suitable for the new garage?

The base needs to be level and the same size or larger than the new garage. If the base has any structural cracks or is out of level or you do not think it is structurally sound please contact our office for advice or to arrange a survey.

If I need a new base can this be arranged by Sutcliffe’s?

Yes we are able to offer a base laying service over most parts of the UK
